Protection against the Unknown: Rituals, Superstitions and Wards

1. If a candle lighted as part of a ceremony blows out, it is a sign that evil spirits are nearby.
2. A candle with a tall straight flame indicates the arrival of a stranger.

You need to represent either a superstition; Give an example of a ward, talisman/symbol; Or illustrate a ritual used for protection. The more creative you are the better you will fare.

You need to provide a short blurb on what your topic/item is and its function.
